Resolutions Fail.

Well, we’re almost three months into the new year now.

My new year’s resolutions were to A) start another 365 project (effective as of the 1st day of the year); B) read more; C) do my assignments when I get them instead of leaving them to the last minute.

So……… that went well. I’ve still not started a 365 (oops…), I did start reading more… but then I came back to Uni and started drinking more again instead (Dom, you are a bad influence. You’re lucky I love you <3), aaaaand as for my assignments… well… yeah… I should really be doing one now, shouldn’t I? Instead of being on WordPress, and Tumblr, and YouTube… heh heh heh…

Weird start to this year. Nothing that I was expecting. End of a relationship, start of a new one, various other weird things…. however, next weekend my best friend Tav, and my old housemate Jason are coming to visit me. I can’t express how excited I am to see them that would actually be legible so I won’t try.

I’ll get around to those assignments……… sometime. (:

So, February’s pretty nifty.

Well I’ve already been set a fair bit of work from my first few weeks back at Uni- And I’ve been attempting to get it done, which would have been easier had I not had weird stomach pains for the last two days. God knows why. I’m sure they’ll go away soon enough.

My To Do list is getting longer… and I’m still not ticking off as many things as quickly as I should be doing (oops). I also need to buy a load of books for uni, one of which is £40… which is more than I spend on FOOD in TWO weeks…. so that makes me sad and… angry. >:[

However, in other news, two of my friends will be visiting me up in delightful Bolton the first weekend in March, which is awesome. And Valentine’s Day didn’t suck as bad as it normally does, this year. I got a Sherlock Holmes (all original stories) book, and it’s awesome. I feel like my eyes will drop out my head every time I look at it 🙂 Yayy thank yous Squidwolf. ❤

I’m gonna go and look at Youtube videos of Mishka the talking husky now. Because, ya know… degree vs cute husky dog that howls “I love you?”… well it’s gotta be the dog right? Priorities!

The Woman In Black

So, went to go see The Woman In Black the other day with Squidwolf. The trailer looked really good but I was slightly skeptical going in, as I wasn’t sure how well Daniel Radcliffe would do outside of the role that defined him for over a decade.

But, I was happy to discover that this was a very good film. It’s only a 12A, so the scares in it were mild, but it was a very atmospheric film, all about the unknown, and the fright being in what you can’t actually see. For a 12A, I was actually nervous watching it, and it left me feeling really quite paranoid- impressive!

I recommend the film to people who like the creepier side of media. 🙂

10 February 2012.

Well, semester two at the University of Bolton started this week. Three lectures into the new term, two assignments still sat in my folder staring at me while I’m sat in my pyjamas at 7pm on the day I was planning on getting said assignments finished, writing a blog post about assignments I should be doing, while ignoring them entirely and procrastinating my little head off.

God I’m a state.

I was going to do them. Honest. I was. But… I’m too lazy! 😦

Which means that today I have been mainly…

– Sitting
– Texting
– Facebooking
– Youtubing
– Phone calling
– Eating Wotsits.
